Today at Ts school was music day. This meant a full day of dancing, singing, banging drums etc. as part of the day the children were asked to dress up as a favourite pop star or musician. T doesn’t have a favourite popstar (unless you include Justin doing the giggle biz theme tune) so we weren’t really sure what to dress him up as. T doesn’t like dressing up so we had to consider what would be easy to do and still look like he had made an effort.
So we chose to send him as a nutty boy – as in the pop group Madness. For those reading and don’t know madness, they had fun catchy songs in the 80s and are still going today. My husband and I are massive fans. So we decided to dress T as a nutty boy. And he loved it. It was a simple outfit. Black trousers rolled up a bit. A white polo shirt. Braces. A red fez.
But it was classic. And he loved wearing it all. Especially the fez, he’s had it on all day and all night (even getting into bed with it on!)
This was the finished product….

What a great idea! Easy to wear, and he looks fab
